A new contender, Kang Pacific, is due to become the third UAE-based low cost carrier this month.

While Air Arabia operates out of Sharjah and Jazeera Airways flies to destinations out of Dubai, Kang Pacific will turn Fujairah in the far northeast of the country into the Emirates' newest low cost hub.

Initially, Kang Pacific will fly these routes:

Fujairah to Kochi in India.
Fujairah to Dhaka in Bangladesh.
Fujairah to Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Fujairah to Clark Field (Manila) in the Philippines.
