1) New routes "from May": KL-> Guangzhou, Hangzhou (already mentioned), Hainan, Guilin (all in China) and Tirchur (South India). (Story here.)
2) $166 fares for KL-Gold Coast for May-Oct 08. Discussions with Melbourne airport. (Link)

Make that Trichur, aka Thrissur. I can't figure out for sure which airport they'll be flying to, but Trichur is pretty close to Cochin (aka Kochi). It could be Cochin International Airport (but that seems to be closer to Cochin than Trichur.
On the date, Air Asia's getting a batch of new planes in Feb - I guess it takes a while to commission them. So it sounds like the next new routes will probably start operating in Sept & Oct (3 months after the Jul & Aug batches of planes are delivered) |
