How do you book the charter flights since you can't do it through the website and how much is airfare between Manila and Seoul? Anyone know? Getting around SE Asia seems so cheap and easy but I'm having a helluva time trying to find flights (reasonably priced) between SE Asia and Korea and/or Japan.

You can't unless you're booking a package holiday with certain South Korean travel agents.

I've tried contacting both Cebu and Tiger about their flights from Incheon, but can't get a response from either of them.

I think I'm just going to go with STA Travel. They've offered me a flight from Incheon to Bangkok for $375 via Thai Airways. More than I was hoping to pay but better than anything else I've found that is actually bookable.

Tiger isn't flying from its proposed new base in Incheon yet. The airline had problems towards the end of last year with regulatory approval from the South Korean authorities and the issue still hasn't been resolved.

At the 5th Asia-Pacific Low Cost Airlines Congress in Singapore in January 2008, Tiger Airways CEO Tony Davis expressed confidence that the issues would be resolved and the airline would find a way to be granted permission to fly from Incheon.

But he didn't give any indication that Tiger Airways had thought their way through a solution yet.

And it doesn't look like it has even now, halfway through April 2008.
