Sky Europe will soon start service to Istanbul from Bratislava. A new option for the Europe-Middle East-Asia low cost routes.

Norwegian will start flights from Oslo and Stockholm to Dubai, fares starting at some 150€ one way including tax. Maybe the best way to escape Scandinavian long cold winter days...

The rate this is going on, the Middle East is going to start feeling like a remote part of Europe by this time next year.

Flying from Western or Central Europe to cities along the Persian Gulf is going to be the equivalent of what flying from London or Paris to Prague or Krakow was in 1991-92.
