I want to fly from London to Paris for one weekend in May: either for the weekend of May 16th-May 18th or else for the weekend of May 23rd-May 25th.

What's the cheapest way I can do this?

Given that Ryanair no longer flies from London Stansted to Paris Beauvais, you're looking at Air France, British Airways and easyJet.

The lowest fares offered by each carrier are as follows:

Air France
Fly London Heathrow to Paris CDG on Friday 16th May
Fly Paris CDG to London Heathrow on Sunday 18th May
Total fare including taxes: GBP 102

British Airways
Fly London Heathrow to Paris CDG on Friday 23rd May
Fly Paris CDG to London Heathrow on Sunday 25th May
Total fare including taxes: GBP 105

easyJet
Fly London Luton to Paris CDG on Friday 16th May
Fly Paris CDG to London Luton on Sunday 18th May
Total fare including taxes and 1 x hold luggage: GBP 63

Then, of course, you have two more options - travelling by road and rail:

Eurostar
Train from London St. Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord on Friday 23rd
Train from Paris Gare du Nord to London St. Pancras on Sunday 25th May
Total fare including taxes: GBP 124

Eurolines
Coach from London Victoria Coach Station to Paris Eurolines Coach Station on Thursday 15th
Coach from Paris Eurolines Coach Station to London Victoria Coach Station on Sunday 18th May
Total fare including taxes: GBP 40

The last option - the cheapest of all the options listed above - is an overnight coach which departs London late on Thursday evening and arrives in Paris early on Friday morning.

Usually the cheapest fare on Eurolines is the ultra low cost funfare, but right now the coach company only appears to have the following three types of fares available:

Eurolines Promo 7 Return - GBP 40
Eurolines Standard Return - GBP 49
Eurolines Value Return - GBP 50
