The USA-based low cost airline jetBlue is exploring the possibility of massively expanding the number of Caribbean destinations on its low cost route network.

jetBlue already flies to 9 destinations in the Carribean - including to Nassau in The Bahamas, to cities in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic and to the islands of St. Maarten and Aruba - as well as to the island of Bermuda.

One report suggested that, on top of these ten destinations, the low fare carrier is now looking at a further 24 destinations in the Caribbean region.
