Air Deccan has undergone something of a makeover in the last month following UB Group's purchase of a further 20% of Deccan aviation - bringing Vijay Mallya's stake in Deccan Aviation to 46%.

The influence of Kingfisher is certainly recognisable in the colours and logo of the new Simplifly Deccan brand.

But are we assured that with the smartening up of Air Deccan's image it will still offer the cheapest domestic low cost fares in India?
