Since the Philippine Government declared an open skies policy for Clark International Airport some time ago Cebu Pacific have been frustrated by the non-reciprocity of foreign governments.
Cebu had planned to open a third International hub from Clark well over a year ago, but had to put those plans on hold after being denied landing rights to countries whose own airlines were free to fly to Clark.
It seems these hurdles have finally been overcome. Cebu Pacific will start International flights at Clark from November 8. Initial International destinations will be:
Hong Kong (Daily, from Php1,499 excl. tax etc)
Singapore (Daily, from Php999 excl. tax etc)
Macau (Four times weekly, from Php499 excl. tax etc)
Bangkok (Three times weekly, from Php1,999 excl. tax etc)
A special "zero fare" (excl. tax etc) promotion is running until September 10, valid for travel from November 8 to December 17, 2008. |
