Southwest England's own low cost airline, Air Southwest will commence flying six new routes on April 28th, 2008. The routes are as follows:

Plymouth to Newcastle in the Northeast of England
Plymouth to Glasgow in Scotland
Plymouth to Dublin in Ireland
Plymouth to Cork in Ireland

Newquay to Newcastle in the Northeast of England
Newquay to Glasgow in Scotland

Air Southwest will also begin flying the following two routes on December 20th, 2008:

Plymouth to Chambery in France
Newquay to Chambery in France
